Founded in 1889, DIsley is one of the oldest inland courses in the UK. Located in the tranquil setting of the Cheshire and Derbyshire border, there is no better location to play golf. The ladies section play on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. There is a ladies get in to golf class on a Thursday evening.
The ever growing Junior section plays weekly on a Sunday and external competitions in the school holidays. There is junior coaching for beginners on a Thursday evening.
The Seniors section is on of the most active in the golf club, with roll ups on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
At Disley you will be spoilt with breathtaking panoramic views of the peak district, Kinder Scout, Cheshire, Manchester and on a clear day the Welsh mountains. The course is a test for all golfing abilities, with its parkland and moorland style. The small undulating greens will test the best putters and accuracy is essential off the tee. With multiple tees available from 5000 yards to over 6000, Disley can be enjoyed by all standard of golfers.
