We offer golf for boys and girls of all levels of ability here at Disley Golf Club.

We have a committed team of organisers and professionals who arrange coaching
sessions, competitions and fun days for all junior members.

There is a wide-ranging programme of golf for all ages and abilities, from our
academy sessions for the young ones, prospering golfers going onto the course for
the first time, through to team members who have official handicaps representing the
club in events and competitions.

At Disley Golf Club new golfers are invited to try golf at one of our ‘taster’ sessions.
All equipment is provided for these relaxed and fun sessions. Timings on these are
flexible and our friendly professionals will try to accommodate wherever possible.

Beginners Academy

After the initial ‘taster’ session, golfers move into the weekly beginner’s academy.
These sessions work through all aspects of the game, with an aim to help juniors to
play on the golf course as soon as they feel confident.

Intermediate Golfers

When a junior has obtained membership of the junior section, they can take part in
organised junior roll up sessions on the course (supervised by Junior organisers). At
these sessions they can play either 3, 7, 9, or 16 holes depending on their age and
experience and are also a great chance to get to know other junior members and
make friends.

Getting a Handicap

An official world golf handicap can be gained over 9 or 18 holes at Disley Golf Club.
Three cards will need to be completed to achieve an official handicap.
Junior Membership
All members are subject to the England Golf and County affiliation fee of £15.25
Free up to 13 years old
14-17 Relative of a member £30
14-17 General £60
