Weekly Newsletter week commencing 20th September 2021

Please Remain Covid Aware
Whilst many covid measures have been removed please ensure that you remain vigilant and follow appropriate social distancing whenever possible.
Due to an increase in the number of covid cases, whilst masks are no longer mandatory in the clubhouse, we would ask all our members and guests to wear a mask when you are not seated. We would ask that you continue to sign in on entering the clubhouse.

Many thanks for your co-operation.

Autumn Opening Hours
Sadly, as the nights draw in, the bar & kitchen opening hours will be changing from 1st October. If you are playing in the afternoon please ensure that you check before you play to see if the clubhouse will still be open after your round so that your keys etc don’t get locked in the locker rooms.

Starting next week (Friday 1st October) the kitchen will be opening from 9.30am on Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings so why not arrive a bit earlier for your tee time and enjoy a breakfast before you play.

Subs reminder
For those members who pay in two instalments the second payment is due this month.

The competition will be a 3 ball individual Stableford comp, playing off of yellow tees with full handicap. All three scores to be combined to give a team score. Individual prizes will be awarded to the top 4 places at least, as well as a two's comp, and nearest the pin on all par 3s.
A two course meal after the competition (6 for 6:30) will be followed by the prize presentation. Jacket and ties please. Total cost, a mere £21.

Minutes from the AGM and latest Board meeting are posted on the main notice board outside the Members Lounge.

Divot Boxes
Unfortunately a small minority of players have been using the divot boxes as waste bins. This just adds to the work for our green staff. Please do not put litter in the divot boxes.
