Started playing golf at the age of 8
Represented Cheshire, England Under 16s, Under 18's, Under 21's and Mens team, Great Britain and Ireland at amateur level before going on to turn professional in 2002.
Played professional tournaments on the Europro tour, European Challange tour, the USA NGA tour and multiple other tours in the USA before joining Disley Golf Clubs professional team in 2009.
Won the North region PGA at Wychwood park with a score of -9 for 2 rounds.
Winner of both the MDGA Assistant and Professional Matchplay tournament

My Philosophy on coaching is to keep it simple, with the emphasis on feel. If you can feel the right position, I believe you can repeat it. Teaching the short game gives me the most enjoyment, seeing people turning 3 shots into 2 and lowering their scores is really satisfying.

Played for Cheshire Boys and Men’s A Team before turning Professional at 21 years old.
Competed on various Professional Golf tours, predominantly The EuroPro Tour and some European Challenge Tour, gaining some great experience playing in many different countries.
Progressed to The Open Final Qualifying 9 times and European Tour Qualifying 2nd Stage on 4 occasions.
Became PGA Qualified in 2016.

I enjoy drawing on my experience as a player to help golfers to learn the key aspects of their golf swing and short game technique to shoot lower scores. Turning a slice into a draw or making a sand save isn’t that hard when you know how.

Hold 3 course records in the UK with my best form being my current lowest tournament round -8 at Oakwood followed by -7 at Retford the following week.
